This is just my opinion, but I would be shocked if Don Coleman doesn't commit to Cal. He's been retweeting some Cal basketball stuff and more importantly, in some recent interactions that I've had with him, he has commented on how excited he is to see Cal doing so well and he loves the energy he sees at Haas Pavilion. He also is very excited to visit the school (Date TBA). Anyways, just to be clear, this is my opinion. Don hasn't told me he's going to commit, but the things he is saying sound like a guy who will commit and join Tyson Jolly in 2016.
The only reason he hasn't committed yet is because his season with Lawson State C.C. isn't over. Once his season is over and he finds a time to visit Cal, expect him to commit shortly after. The only thing that would keep him from committing to Cal is if a power five conference school in the SEC offers him, but even then, the fact that Cal is the first major program to offer him gives them a huge advantage. If Cal doesn't get this kid, it will be puzzling.
