Hey guys, there've been a couple of reports floating around on Twitter recently, saying that 2017 3-star point guard Damari Milstead has an offer from Cal. One report comes from a guy who says he just interviewed Damari Milstead a couple of days ago. Just wanted to clear the air on this one. Milstead told me today that he does not have an offer from Cal and that it's interest only. He visited Cal back in September on an unofficial, but he did not pick up an offer after that.
Anyways, that's the deal. He doesn't have an offer. With Hickman and Baker committed, it's unlikely that Cal offers Milstead since that would give them three 3-star point guards. Especially since we are going on eight months since his visit to Cal and he still hasn't picked up an offer. ESPN, 24/7, and Scout all say that Cal has offered Damari Milstead, but they are all wrong. Don't pay attention to them.
