Just talked to him. Here's the important-est stuff:
This visit settled any doubts for him. He's 100% sold on Cal and is committed. No "final decision" bullshit upcoming or anything. That's it. He'll sign on Wednesday.
Iowa State, Virginia and Wake Forest all pushed hard late, but Cal was everything he wants
As the only defensive recruit this weekend, he got a ton of time with Kaufman and Tate and said that was the biggest difference this visit versus his unofficial over the summer (when they were busy coaching).
He played all over for his high school team this year: nose, DT, DE and tight end. Cal wants him as an SDE.
I'll have a full writeup later tonight, but the dude is jazzed. Sounds like he had a great visit and it dispelled any doubts about his commitment.
