Net Punting: 52nd Nationally and 7th in the Pac 12 (REPORT CARD = C+)
Punt Returns: 98th Nationally and 11th in the Pac 12 (REPORT CARD = D-)
Net Kickoff: Bizarrely this stat does not exist that I can find. They only track KO return yards against which is asinine because if like Cal you pooch and /or short squib a lot you may not give up many yards per kick. What counts is average starting field position.
Kickoff: 127th nationally (out of 128 teams) and 12th in the Pac 12 (REPORT CARD = F)
Kickoff Coverage: 58th nationally and 4th in the Pac 12 (REPORT CARD = C+)
Kickoff Returns: 74th nationally and 8th in the Pac 12 (REPORT CARD = D+)
FG Kicking Accuracy: 11th nationally and 3rd in Pac 12 (REPORT CARD = A)
FG Kicking Long: No stats here that I can find but experience would suggest we were a C grade)
Blocks Allowed: Zero on punts and one on FG/PAT Attempts: (REPORT CARD = A-)
TDs: Zero (REPORT CARD = C)
Phil Steele does a calculation that aggregates all of the above into a ranking and we've been below average the past two years. Based on the above, we will again finish below average, perhaps well below).
