Yet another Texas offer for Cal today as the Bears have become the latest school to jump into the mix with high three-star DE/OLB Braylan Shelby from Friendswood High School in the Houston area. Shelby picked up an offer from Auburn earlier this week with Minnesota and Florida State being some of his other recent offers. He made a recent trip to USC and will be seeing Texas this weekend on a visit. Arizona State, USC, Colorado and Utah are the other Pac-12 schools that have offered him. Penn State, Illinois, Oklahoma State and Tennessee are some more schools on his offer list.
He had 77 tackles, 12 tackles for loss, eight sacks and four forced fumbles last season as a junior.
