Basketball: Marvin Bagley III enrolled at Sierra Canyon

Highly touted sophomore Marvin Bagley III has enrolled at Sierra Canyon and will start classes in the spring semester, per head coach Ty Nichols. His eligibility for this season, however, is still yet to be determined.
Bagley, rated the top sophomore in the country by several sites and regarded as one of the best prep players regardless of class, was previously enrolled at Hillcrest Prep in Arizona before leaving the school in November. He had been seen touring Sierra Canyon in November.
Nichols said Bagley and his younger brother Marcus, an eighth-grader, enrolled in December and his family has moved in the area. Obviously, the CIF Southern Section will look into his transfer so it is yet to be determined if the 6-foot-9 sophomore will play this season.
