The Chronicle reports this morning that Barry Sanders, Jr. is transferring from the 'Furd. The article suggests that it is primarily because he has figured out he will be playing behind McCaffrey for at least another year if he stays on The Farm.
The other interesting note to this is that the 'Furd is releasing him to transfer to any school other than a Pac 12 school. They apparently don't want to see him toting the tock for Cal or some other conference rival.
