Hey, I get it that he plays for the Packers and spends a lot of time in Wisconsin, but seeing him sitting in the stands rooting for Wisconsin, and never showing up for any Cal games or functions, has gotten very old. I know we've discussed this subject plenty before, but him being there in the stands with Olivia Munn and being repeatedly shown celebrating the Badgers, just brings it up all over again.

I hope he has truly gotten over his grudge about Tedford's departure.

It is annoying but he's friends with bo ryan. Hard to give him too much crap for rooting for his friends team. If it was against cal then that would be an issue.

maybe we'll get to see the local nfl qb Carr rooting for Cal's next final 4 run. Though it would have been better if the qb guru hadn't passed on him for bridgeford.

LB....AR knows where is bread is buttered. Plus the people from Cheeseland really are prideful about their state. One of the best weekends I had my ad agency creative was from Wisconsin and wanted to show me how they do things up there. So he rented a RV...I flew in to Chicago and and a bunch of his Wisconsin buddies drove the RV up to Madison to catch a Badgers game on Saturday Night....place was rockin! They were playing Iowa (so not even like the Buckeyes or Michigan)...but the whole city just shuts down. It was a RED OUT...from young to old EVERYONE was wearing RED....plus I experienced the "JUMP AROUND" between the 3rd and 4th quarters...it felt like an earthquake in the stadium. It was infectious...heck I born in the university hospital in Iowa City (long story, I was only in Iowa for the first 2 weeks of my life...and most of my childhood was in Berkeley)...but I have always pulled for the Hawkeyes since I have history there. But, heck, I was jacked up and was jumping around rooting for the Badgers just because of the atmosphere.

Hung around Madison until 2am...then drove to Green Bay to catch the Packers (Favre's last year). Man, Green Bay felt like a college town. The whole city shuts down...everyone is tuned in to the Packers. Really felt like a college town.

So, I can understand why AR has embraced Wisconsin....pretty easy to do, and I don't blame him at all.

Well then... I GUESS WELL FIND OUT NEXT YEAR WHO HE REALLY SUPPORTS.

I'm sure he'll get pissed off at wisconsin eventually too. This is a super bowl MVP, highest paid player in NFL history, who is still pissed off about stuff that happened over a decade ago. I love some rodgers, but he needs to relax a little.

The two biggest shows in the state are the Badgers and Green Bay. He can't be his own fan so of course he's going to pick up Wisco. It would be boring as hell if for 10 years you didn't partake in the most popular thing to do in your entire state. What else is he going to do when he's in town?

Just when I think we have run out of things to whine about, I see this thread.

He doesn't get any more pissed off at CAL than you do droski.

Easy to say when you live on the west coast but then again that's why they have the PAC-12 Network for those who don't.
