Have been able to confirm reports that Stanford forward Andrej Stojakovic will be taking an official visit to Cal beginning April 19. The freshman is a former McDonald's All-American who averaged 7.8 points and 3.4 rebounds this season across the Bay. A Carmichael native, the word has been that he would prefer to stay close to home at his next stop, so not a big surprise that Cal is in the mix here.
He'd be a great piece for Madsen and Co. to begin this rebuild. I watched him play a ton as a high school prospect, and he has a lot more to his game than he's been able to show at the college level. With the right coaching, he could be a high-level scorer.
