Six former Florida State basketball players filed a lawsuit against their former coach for missing NIL payments.
It is going to take a lot of guts these days to be managing an NIL collective or to be a head coach dolling out the NIL $s.
Head coaches likely have defense and indemnity commitments from their universities as part of their employment agreements. Managers of collectives likely are bare, unless they are smart enough to cause their collectives to obtain E & O insurance for their benefit and protection.
