122 Bears Named To Pac-12 Fall, Winter Academic Honor Rolls

Cal Has Pac-12’s Third-Most Student-Athletes Recognized

SAN FRANCISCO – A total of 122 Golden Bears from 11 California teams earned 2020-21 Pac-12 Fall and Winter Academic Honor Roll recognitions, the Conference announced Wednesday. Cal’s 122 selections were the third-most among all Pac-12 schools, with football (29 selections) and women’s soccer (20) accounting for the most honorees.

Any student-athlete on their respective team roster with a cumulative grade-point average of 3.3-or-above, and who has served at least one year in residence at the institution, is eligible for the distinction. Any student-athlete who qualifies will be named to the Pac-12 Academic Honor Roll during the season in which they compete.

The 2020-21 Fall Academic Honor Roll includes student-athletes who participated in Pac-12-sponsored sports of football, men’s and women’s cross country, men’s and women’s soccer and women’s volleyball, with all of these sports aside from football having competed in the winter and spring of 2021. The 2020-21 Winter Academic Honor Roll includes student-athletes who participated in the Pac-12-sponsored sports of men’s and women’s basketball, women’s gymnastics, men’s and women’s swimming & diving and wrestling.
