Cal has landed another commitment at outside linebacker with Liberty transfer TJ Bush Jr. having gone public with his pledge to the Bears. The 6-foot-3, 265-pound junior was second on the team with 58 tackles and led the Flames with 9.5 tackles for loss and 5.5 sacks in 2024. He's the second edge rusher the Bears have added this spring following the addition of Chattanooga's Chris Victor.
The Bears absolutely need some upgrades at the position following the spring.
The one-time Iowa State receiver caught 18 passes for 543 yards and 5 touchdowns in 2024.

Cal's second transfer commitment of the spring is in as South Dakota transfer receiver Quaron Adams gave the Bears his pledge today following his visit to Berkeley, according to his agency. Adams, who Cal pursued out of high school in the 2022 cycle, eventually landed at Iowa State before finding his way to South Dakota last season. He's a big-play threat who had several explosive plays throughout the season and averaged just over 30 yards per catch.
