Just talked to the speedy APB. He didn't have a lot to say and didn't give much away, but here are some of the notable takeaways:
- He'll make a decision "soon" between Cal and Wazzu and will let the coaching staffs know where he's headed. Then announce on NSD.
- Both schools would use him the same way and both offer equally good opportunities to showcase his talents, so it will come down to where he feels most comfortable.
- He was worried when Franklin's departure was announced but isn't now after talking to Sonny. Sounds like the offense will not drastically change, or at least his usage won't.
- He said the commits didn't really try to pressure him, and that the big highlight was getting a chance to be around the other recruits and guys on the team. He liked how it felt. Good vibe.
- Malik Psalms was his host. They knew each other before Malik came to Cal.
- He's ready to get the recruiting process over with. He told me this, but I definitely could have deduced this myself.
