You'd be hard pressed to find a player who put up the kind of stats Jaeden Moore did last season at Central Valley Christian. He finished his junior season with 155 tackles, 30 tackles for loss and 17 1/2 sacks plus he caught 60 passes for nearly 1,000 yards receiving. He's super athletic and someone Cal has made a priority in the class. He has already been on campus a couple times and has built a strong relationship with the program. Keith Heyward moving on has been disappointing for Moore, but it hasn't impacted his feelings on the Bears. He has a strong impression of Justin Wilcox and says that Cal is among the schools remaining the most consistent in his recruitment along with Arizona and Colorado. Right now it is shaping up to be a battle between Cal and Arizona, but the Bears have done a good job making him feel comfortable with the program.

“It’s awesome. Coach Wilcox visited my school. He’s a great guy. Pretty cool. It’s nice. He’s like the most genuine guy I’ve ever met. Seem’s pretty cool.”
