The average RPI for Pac 12 schools is 97. In the latest games Cal, Wash., Colorado and UCLA all lost to powerhouses like CSUB, Stony Brook, Alabama and Hawaii! Now they start beating up on each other which limits any opportunity to improve their RPI, playing mostly teams with high scores. You would have to beat up on AZ and Utah which is highly unlikely. Cal RPI is 112. That loss to CSUB is a disastrous loss and will come back to haunt them. The Pac 12 will likely get 3 teams into the tournament and maybe a fourth as a play-in team. Anything more would require charity from the selection team. The NIT will be full of Pac 12 teams including Cal.
