Let's start a thread about the NFL Draft through the prism of local teams and players. Can be the Niners, Raiders, Cal, Stanford, SJS, or local high school guys who might be drafted.
As a Niners fan, my priorities: DE, LB, DB, WR, OT
(Players who likely will be available when Niners select)
1. DE Marcus Davenport from UTSA (Most underrated player in draft given his position, IMO)
2. DT Vita Vea from UW (DT not priority, but can't pass up 347 guy who can move like him)
3. DB Minkah Fitzpatrick from Alabama (Safety who can cover)
4. LB Tremaine Edmunds from Va Tech (Keep Foster outside with big MLB)
5. WR DJ Chark from LSU (Best post-season of any player in draft IMO)
CB Denzel Ward from Ohio St. is a great athlete, but I don't see need with Sherman and Witherspoon.
Has anyone heard anything about what the draft prospects are for Devante Downs? What's his recovery status?
