Just got offered yesterday, here's what he had to say:
- His coach at St. Thomas More knows one of Cal's QC coaches (Mike Bruno), and that's how the relationship started here
- Part of a west coast tour for him, but the Cal staff has talked to him about coming back for a visit over the summer for one of the camps
- Wilcox offered him in person, DeRuyter and Browning talked to him a lot as well
- He's another kid who's heavy on the academics (he's also bigger than what the Rivals profile lists him at, probably closer to 6'3" from seeing him in person)
- We talked a little bit about the Canadian talent coming into the US, and he noted that there's a lot of kids like him who're making that jump to the States to play sports.
