The Bears have the feel of team in the two-to-four win range, so success shouldn't be defined by a certain win total. Instead, at this time next year, fans need to feel confident the program took a meaningful step forward -- much like Oregon State did this past year. The Beavers went just 4-8, but it was still clear coach Gary Andersen laid the foundation for more tangible success. That's a realistic aspiration for Cal.
