I was just taking a peek at a Bruins board and man oh man do they ever want to get rid of McClure as their DL coach! I didn't watch any of their bowl game yesterday, but it sounds like K-State just ran all over them in the 2nd half. Chip was reportedly at the game, so I'm wondering if he might let McClure go? As has been stated here already, there is also talk of making him the TE/ST coach, keeping him on board because of his recruiting prowess and knowledge of UCLA admissions. If by chance Chip doesn't retain him, does Wilcox go after him as our DL coach if indeed he's not a very good DL coach? Could we move any of our coaches around to make room for McClure at something other than DL? All I know is that I would be thrilled to have a great recruiter like Angus on staff, but not at the expense of also having a subpar coach.
