Post from their Scout site:
We have better dancers and talkers. Stanford has better football players. They're smarter too. Our center is supposedly the leader of the O line, and he played the fool, costing us 15 yards and a drive. This is a team that lacks discipline.
For those who missed it, Tuerk dove on a Stanford defender after the whistle, a really idiotic thing to do...
I'm basking in the "lacks discipline" comment. I was telling everyone I know who cares about this shit that Sark not being immediately suspended or otherwise punished for his "drunken incident" was going to result in a highly undisciplined team, and even said it would cost them at least one game. If Tuerk didn't earn that 15 yard penalty, maybe they still lose, but Sark himself proved how undisciplined he was by eschewing kicking a FG on the final drive of the game.
He let them go to 4th down with 14 seconds left, and still didn't kick a FG. The smart and DISCIPLINED thing would have been to kick a FG with maybe 40 secs left, which they could have done. Instead, their 4th down pass fell incomplete with 4 seconds left. So even if they scored the TD they wouldn't have had enough time to do anything even if they recovered the onside kick. One of the dumbest game management decisions you will ever see. But luckily for all of us USC haters, Pat Haden loves him![Smile :) :)](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
