Four-star Texas all-purpose back Cameron Cook has released his top six this morning. Cal and Oregon are the Pac-12 schools to make the cut while Texas, Penn State, TCU and Kansas State also remaining in the running as the other programs at the top of his list. USC, Utah, Ole Miss, Vanderbilt and Cincinnati are some of the schools he trimmed from his offer list. The Ducks have gained the most buzz as of late but the Bears have quietly put themselves in a good spot with the 5-foot-10 back from the Austin area.

He's made it clear in the past that he is going to commit to the school that expresses the most attention in him, and that is ultimately how he decided on the schools that remain in the mix. Here's what he had to say previously about picking out his favorites in the process.

"Mostly on how they try to build the relationship with me, if we'll be talking a lot on the phone throughout the week, stuff like that. I want to feel like I'm really wanted at that school."
