Defense:
-Kessler doesn't throw the ball down the field and our response is to play 15 yards off the receivers. He had such an easy day
-the pass rush actually got there when they tried to go deep but has no chance against the quick out passes.

Bottom line: If you tell me we hold them to 20 points, I'll take it... but in the end they couldn't make the stops when necessary.

Offense:
-Oline can't run block, so stop trying set up the pass with the run. The run game should supplement the offense and nothing more.
-I hate our play calling when running the ball. It's always slow developing and off tackle. Try crashing one way and running the opposite. Put the playmakers in space
-"why don't they throw the ball deep more? They either complete it or they get an interference call?" -my wife. They throw so many short passes, the defense just squats on all the short passes and it bottles up the run game. There's no spacing and they seem to be working in a smaller and smaller window.
-The pass protection was actually pretty good today.
-where's the up tempo offense? Are they too busy trying to protect the defense?
-Treggs and Goff clearly aren't on the same page

Refs: I'm in no way blaming them, but they were terrible. There were several plays on SC's quick passes where they were blocking before the ball was in the air or there was a block in the back to spring the receivers loose.
-the pass interference late in the game was called by the side judge and not the back judge who was staring straight at it. I'm not sure wtf he thought he was looking at.

Bottom line: I really have my doubts with this offense against quality defenses. We also need better talent. Enough with the 3* projects. Also, we should be taking 5-6 OL in every cycle.
