Is this a cakewalk with WSU? Or are they a dangerous team coming off a bye week? On the surface, they look like they have an improved OL for pass protection and a better defense than last year. Yet they laid an awful egg in week one and really haven't played anyone.

How about our health? Will Jalil, Wilson, Lasco and Farley be ready to play this week? Looked to me like we had a lot of guys limping around after the UW game. Back to back road trips against physical teams.

Can we fix some of the egregious mental errors? OL had at least three if not more bad miscommunications. Two delay of game penalties? KOs and return coverage?

I'd personally really like to see a step up game this week. We need to play with more confidence and put away an inferior opponent on the road. And when I say inferior, I don't mean relative to who we've played as I bet that WSU is roughly on par with Texas and UW as an overall team. I mean inferior to Cal.

We've got a rough stretch of games coming up and we could use the confidence boost, the attention to detail and polish of a clean win and perhaps even some rest and depth building.

That's not say I'm predicting a 25+ point blowout. I think the line at 14 points feels right. WSU will likely score some points - I'm thinking at least 28 unless our pass rush really goes nuts. Yet I believe our O has the potential to put up 50 on these guys.
