I love how the NCAA wants to emphasize academic achievement to fill out its over bloated schedule of racketeering schemes, otherwise known as bowl games. But not one single peep about using academic progress to determine who plays in the playoffs!
Such mind-blowing hypocrisy and compromising. I love me some Gary Pinkel for refusing to play in a bowl game with a 5-7 record. Not enough bowl eligible teams with 6 wins? Don't have the f*cking games! Or better yet, maybe there should be 65 bowl games so all 128 FBS teams get to play in one! Orange slices for everyone, even if they suck!
