Hard to win games against decent teams with that trifecta. I'm not going to blame Cuonzo for the soft guys he inherited and guys who can't make free throws. However, better defense can be coached, and the staff seems to be failing there.
Can definitely see why Dorsey picked Oregon over Cal. Especially for a guard, Oregon has a great system, they're coached very well, and they win. Not to mention the whole Nike deal.
What we'll soon find out is do Rabb/Swanigan see Cal and the softness and no defense, and think, we can change that (I hope), or decide that's just too much to take on and decide not to be part of a currently soft program.
