Kudos to our seniors and Jared Goff in their final game. Great to see us get 8 wins and a decisive bowl victory. Excited by our continued progress on the academic front and proud of the character of our student athletes. The additional practice is greatly appreciated and the reward for the seniors is wonderful to see.
Now it's time to take the next step forward with better talent, a stronger winning culture and 9+ wins.
I will be sorely disappointed if we cannot get back to a bowl next year. A solid returning OL, Kenny Lawler, a bunch of solid RBs and an offensive system that is tough to stop will maintain our offense as a 30+ ppg team. Our defense will return 15 of our top 22 players and has some strong returners and emerging talent ready to take the next step.
