Brady Nassar is a big athlete who is from the Bay Area and now has an offer from Cal. Nassar has been on campus in the past and he was able to watch the team last weekend for its spring game about a week after being offered by the program. Cal is looking at Nassar as an athlete at this stage with the potential to play either tight end or as an edge rusher. He's open to whatever spot a team needs him to line line up at as long as he likes the school, and he likes a lot about Cal right now.

“First and foremost, their school school system is incredible. I’m planning on going into business, so the Haas business school is a different level of business school. If I could get into that that would be great. That’s something that would really convince me to go there. They play in the Pac-12, that’s a big-time league and they play big-time games. That’s another thing that I wanna look for, am I gonna win big-time games and am I gonna be a big-time player on a big-time team? At Cal, I have the opportunity to do that. Those are two things that stand out along with with the great coaching that could move me onto the next level, if that’s what is next for me, and with all that combined it’s a great spot – Cal.”

He is set to take an official visit to Oregon State next weekend and then he will shut things down for a bit to focus on spring practice at his high school. After that he will camp with a few different programs before moving ahead into preparations for his senior season. There is no real timeline for a decision at this stage, but Cal is in a strong position.
