Rabb is smoooth. He's very skilled as both a face up and back to the basket player. His face up jumper needs some work but his form and release are solid and he's very capable of using his dribble to create space and finish. He has long arms and a quick first step which leads to his being a threat with his back to the basket. Nice touch from 12' and in. A natural rebounder with long arms and smart positioning. A good athlete especially for his size, lateral quickness, explosion off the floor, etc. Good timing on shot blocks as well. Bottom line is the kid is an AA for a reason.

He's not super strong yet nor does he have naturally broad shoulders. He could easily put on 15lbs. I could see him playing 2 years in college to add strength and to work on his 17' jumper. He's a better prospect at this stage than Brandon Ashley, Rabb has a better motor and will impact the game more than simply scoring points.

Comparing him to Leon Powe, he's not as explosive or strong for sure. That said, he's longer and more refined skill wise than Leon. I like his motor but believe there is room for improvement.

Frayer played really well against BOD and Rabb. He's skinny and will remind you of Jabari Bird in terms of build and athleticism. A bit taller perhaps than Jabari and unlike Bird, he's more comfortable playing inside than out. He did hit three three pointers in the game but he's not yet a natural long distance sniper like Bird. I believe he's a better all around athlete than anyone we currently have on our team. An even quicker and more explosive leaper than Jabari and he has a lighting quick first step. He looks raw with his skill set although I think he has the makings of a solid handle and a decent jumper.

Big things for him are adding weight and strength especially for defense and rebounding. I expect his skills will take a big jump next season and if so, he could be very, very good.

He and Dillard on the wings will be a thunder and lighting combo in transition, hitting the offensive glass and making life miserable for opponents when they're on defense.

You love to see these elite athletes coming to Cal. One can only imagine our ability to press, run and finish. Surround them with a great ball handler, a couple of dead eye shooters and two space eaters inside and watch out.
