@Twams mentioned it in the Big Board thread, but thought it merited its own thread: Paco Perez moved his UCLA official visit from 1/29 to this coming weekend.
This is notable because now Cal will get his last OV, where before it was going to UCLA. As things stand, if he doesn't flip on his visit to Westwood, Cal will get the opportunity to lock him up when he heads to Berkeley next weekend (1/22), accompanied by a bunch of the other Cal commits.
If I'm Cal's staff, here's what I'm doing:

If I'm Cal's staff, here's what I'm doing:
- Make sure the other Cal commits work hard on Perez. He's been committed long enough and is tight with those guys. Leverage those relationships here.
- downplay the distance from home compared to Westwood (this matters to him and his family). Offer examples of other SoCal natives and how their families made it work well.
- play up the distinct possibility that Adrian Klemm is leaving UCLA after Signing Day.
- play up the fact that UCLA will be implementing a new offense this coming year.
- play up Mora's future in Westwood being finite, while ignoring Sonny's wandering eye week from December.
