After attending on Friday night, I have to say that anyone who likes college basketball in the least needs to do whatever it takes to attend as many Cal home games this year as possible.
The entertainment value is off the charts. So much talent on the floor for our Bears. As good a first 5 as I can ever remember seeing. And it's not simply the performance but how they do it - Alley Oops, Follow Dunks, spectacular drives and finishes, deep threes, blocked shots, etc.
And they don't rely solely on their prodigious talent, They play their asses off every second they're on the court. We can be proud of all of them in the classroom and off the court as well. Great representatives of this university.
Add in the new scoreboard which is spectacular, the improved sound system, better food and general clean up around the arena and you have a wonderful game day experience.
Buy tickets now if you have not already. You will regret every game you miss. TV is such a poor substitute for being live in college basketball. The limited cameras, the lack of energy and atmosphere, etc.
