My father, haas business mba alum (thank you GI bill), huge cal fan, donor, and immensely proud my sister and I went to cal passed last Friday from pancreatic cancer one month after diagnosis.
It was sudden and awful and I wish his dream of cal in a rose bowl came before he passed. When he found out he was going to die he said “shit happens, I lived as good of a life as anyone.” Let’s hope chase and company can fulfill his dream in 2020.
