Cal offered Fort Worth (TX) All Saints defensive tackle Michael Williams during his unofficial visit over the weekend. Williams also visited Stanford, who he holds an offer from, and competed in The Opening: Oakland edition today.
Williams is 6'2"/300 and despite missing his entire junior season after a shoulder injury and subsequent surgery, holds what can scientifically be called a buttload of offers from many of the heavies of college football. Good that he visited, but offering at this juncture is a headscratcher to me and I'm not sure much will come of this. Williams can go pretty much wherever he wants.
