Cal's newest portal pickup is NC State running back Kendrick Raphael who will head to Berkeley with 871 total yards and 4 touchdowns through two seasons with the Wolfpack. He's averaged 5.1 yards per rush in his career and will have two seasons of remaining eligibility with the Bears. A former four-star recruit, Raphael was once committed to Iowa and held offers from Oregon, Penn State, Louisville and Iowa State among others.
