Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei defensive lineman Malik McMorris[/B] just rolled through registration and had perhaps the shortest commute of all the attendees. He's down to Army, UC Davis, Holy Cross and Cal Poly SLO ... But the catch is that he could have a spot at Cal as a preferred walk-on. Right now, it looks like he's got to figure out the financial side of things in Berkeley to go there. He likes the football aspect, the academic aspect and also has a couple former teammates there that have gone through the walk-on process.
