His lawyers are fighting back. They have provided the university with 900 text or email messages which purportedly show the "flirtation was mutual". Hufnagel has not actually been fired yet. He is suspended and on PAID leave. He a represented by a high powered law firm. If the university uses in-house counsel, they may get their butts kicked. Doubt Hufnagel has the funds to pay his lawyer's legal fees. His lawyers must be looking to get their fees paid from a pofential settlement. I also doubt the university's case is as cut and dried as everyone is accepting.or Hufnages's lawyers would not have taken the case; I know from personal experience that lawyers do not work for free.
