I read an article that said he was 1/2 credit short of Cal admission. Took an online course but it wasn't counted. GPA and SATs met both NCAA and Cal standards. If this is all true that was a real "hard ass" approach by Cal Admin. Other schools reached out and offered him a scholarship. He declined and chose to be a 2016 Cal commit. He is going to a Florida prep school and will easily make up the 1/2 credit and I believe have a full season of basketball. If he does end up at Cal, this may turn out to be the best scenario, given Cal's loaded roster this year. Sounds like we could have easily lost him. Someone with this dedication is going to have his scholarship position cemented. Sorry Dan, this is not iffy!. If any of this is inaccurate please correct.
