All of this is probably known by some of you, but there were a couple of interesting nuggets I picked up. Calhoun, Wilkins, and Johnson were all confirmed to have ACL injuries. Wilkins will be back by spring, and the other two, predictably, will hopefully be back for the fall. I saw Wilkins walking around without a brace and he seemed to be moving normally.
They have Gary Tyrrell's trombone on display in the football offices! I took a picture of it, but I'm not sure how to upload it from my phone. I will look into it.
Nothing else too earth-shattering comes to mind. I was led by a current football player who I don't want to name publicly, but he was a very impressive young man. I'm always impressed by the intelligence and character of our student-athletes.
