Coppell, Texas cornerback Braxton Myers has announced his final seven and a commitment date (May 16). The four-star Rivals250 prospect is down to Cal, USC, Auburn, LSU, Arkansas, Clemson and Ole Miss. The Bears made his previous cut back in early February when he trimmed his offer list down to 12 schools. Texas, TCU, Notre Dame, Michigan and Florida State are the schools that have been cut since then. Myers just made the trip out to USC and the feeling right now is he is headed to the Trojans. USC has already picked up two Rivals FutureCast selections in favor of the Trojans today. Cal was one of the early schools to jump in with an offer to Myers back in August, and since then he has become a widely-targeted recruit all over the country.
He currently holds over two dozen offers.
