I haven't been too pleased the Defense in the Dykes era, and I think this year's defense will be close to the 2014 defense which was not good. I started thinking about all the defensive players who quit or left early since Dykes has been here and it is a pretty big number. I think there are
about 15 players who could have helped or at least added depth:
Jacobi Hunter, Johnny Ragin, Ed Tandy, Chad Whitener, Trey Cheek, Cedric Dozier, Maximo Espita,
Hardy Nickerson, Michael Barton, Kam Jackson, Brennan Scarlett, Tiny Maola, Avery Sebastian, Jordan Morgan and Chris McCain.
I know a few of these were grade issues and some might not have been too good, but I still wonder how much better we could be with some of those who left. I certainly wish we still had some of those linebackers.
