Yes, you read that correctly.

I read with great amusement everyone ragging on the defense and the DC during the game thread. Were you all even watching the game? Our defense played great against a QB who was making spectacular throws (and their offense got great starting field position most of the day). I'll take 28 points and 4 turnovers every single game from now on.

Now our offense is another matter. We were actually out scored by WSU. Goff had great stats but was off on several throws and worse yet reads, the run game was terrible (despite Enwere's heroics), WRs struggled to get separation, and the playcalling was awful, just awful (I'm especially galled by the "screen" pass to Enwere on 4th down and multiple slow developing runs up the middle on short yardage; and why we don't take more deep shots especially as Goff had time yesterday mystifies me).

I'm happy to be 5-0 and that we are beating teams that we should (including two Grant reviewed teams that suck!), but now we play six teams that are all good teams and an OSU team that should not be underestimated. Clearly we need to play better to win more than we lose in our final seven. Especially on offense.
