Announcement: Aug. 17; 2:15 p.m. PDT Finalists: Cal, Arizona, Oregon, Washington
Longtime priority edge rusher target Jaeden Moore has quickly shifted gears and will now make a decision this week after previously indicating that he would wait until the fall to announce his commitment. That means Oregon will be the last school to get him on a visit before his decision after the other finalists hosted him on official visits in June. He did not take an official visit to Oregon but made an unofficial visit to Eugene a couple weeks ago for that program's Saturday Night Live camp. The Ducks have gained momentum since then leading to plenty of speculation that Oregon will be the pick this week. The Bears have definitely put a lot of effort into keeping Moore close to home, but he has been open to all the schools in pursuit and has taken his time to get to know each one. He has been good about not tipping his hand, so there's no real surprises at this stage. However, it does feel like Oregon is sitting in the best spot heading into his announcement.
