He has our schedule rated the 7th toughest in the country in 2015. Directionally, he is probably correct that it will be difficult but we could easily end up 24th as 7th given the unknowns.

His preseason top 25 plus the Vegas odds for the Pac 12 demonstrate a view that the P12 South will be far tougher than the North this year. Only Oregon is seen as an elite team by Phil and the oddsmakers in Vegas. Stanford is rated ahead of Cal but middle of the Pac 12 with UW, Oregon State and WSU all perceived to be laggers.
