Had to miss the home opener last Saturday (thank God I could get it on TV), but I was wondering whaf the overall CMS experience was like. The Grambling Band obviously had to make a very positive difference, but were there more or fewer egregious scoreboard commercials, piped in songs, etc?
I see from a thread on TOS that there was some complaining about the Cal band. What did you think? I have always appreciated their marching but, in addition, have always thought that our Band sounded a bit wimpy. Far from enough brass. Pretty much every other school's band can simply drown our band out if they are at CMS in force. When our band faces the other side of the field, it is barely audible. Sounds completely muffled.
