Hey guys, here is the list of guys who Cal has been targeting as possible transfers. Just wanna thank CalGreg and everybody else who has contributed to the recent discussions of transfer targets! You guys are awesome!
Anyways, the following three players have surfaced as players who have been contacted by Cal:
Columbia senior guard Grant Mullins, who is averaging 13.3 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 3.3 assists per game on 43.9% shooting from 3-point range. Mullins is a grad transfer who will be eligible to play right away.
Arkansas freshman guard Jimmy Whitt, who averaged 6.1 points per game in 17.2 minutes of action. He previously had an offer from Cal and even though he didn't exactly light up the hardwood in his freshman season, Cal still believes he can bring them something.
Tulane sophomore power forward Dylan Osetkowski, who averaged 11.3 points and 8.3 rebounds per game last season. Osetkowski could bring some much needed depth at the power forward position for the 2017 and 2018 seasons.
At the moment, those are the only three transfers who are known to have been contacted by Cal. One possible target is Katin Reinhardt of USC, but I it's possible that USC won't allow him to transfer to somewhere else in the conference. But to be clear, I have no knowledge that Cal is pursuing him. He's just a name who I could see Cal pursuing. Another possible target is Patrick Steeves, a graduate transfer guard from Harvard. One again, to be clear, I have no knowledge if either Steeves or Reinhardt is being pursued by Cal, but based on their abilities and academic backgrounds, they seem like possible targets.
