Here's a few early standout performances from week 3 action:
- Zion. Echols. 13 carries for 208 yards and 4 touchdowns. 2 receptions for 10 yards and another touchdown. IN THE FIRST HALF. Charter Oak rolled 49-0 over Bell Gardens and Echols sat the entire second half after his banner start.
- Max Gilliam still doing Max Gilliam stuff. He threw a 91 yard touchdown pass on the Lancers' first play from scrimmage. In three quarters, he was 9 of 13 for 253 yards and 2 touchdowns. Thousand Oaks cruised to a win over West Ranch
- Jordan Duncan caught a 31 yard touchdown in Oak Grove's 38-22 win over crosstown rival Hattiesburg.
- Josh Drayden and Bishop Dunne beat Dallas Roosevelt 90...NINETY! to 0 and held Roosevelt to -70 yards of offense for the game. Was that even fun?
