Was at the Durant Hotel last night for dinner. Went to use the mens' room, always de rigeur at the Durant, due to the Stanford Urinal. (Who doesn't enjoy pissing on the 'Furd?) Unfortunately, although it was still painted a vibrant cardinal red, the Stanford logo (the tree, the background, the "S") had all been scratched off. Looked like a Cardinal booster had gotten after it, as there were some scratches. Amused and curious, I asked the front desk dude, and he laughed and said they had replacement decals or stencils that they have to use every six weeks or so. Keep up God's work, Durant Hotel.
