Well, the Bears win over Utah yesterday has me caring about the Bubble again today. That is a good thing.

I am going to use Joe Lunardi's version of the Bubble today. He's updating it real-time after every game, there are too many different Bracketologists in the BracketMatrix.com consensus that aren't, so it no longer reflects the latest and greatest (teams in italics have already lost in their conference tournament):

Last Four Byes: Providence, Marquette, Xavier, Vanderbilt
Last Four In: Syracuse, Wake Forest, USC, Kansas State
First Four Out: Rhode Island, Illinois State, Houston, California
Next Four Out: Georgia, Indiana, TCU, Illinois

Here are today's games involving the Bubble teams (losses by the first team listed are potentially helpful, other than Cal, of course):

Georgia lost to Kentucky, 71-60 (GOOD result)
Rhode Island beat St. Bonaventure, 74-63 (BAD result)
Indiana lost to Wisconsin, 70-60 (GOOD result)
Vanderbilt beat Florida, 72-62 (BAD result)
TCU lost to Iowa State, 84-63 (GOOD result)
Xavier lost to Creighton, 75-72 (GOOD result)
Kansas State lost to West Virginia, 51-50 (GOOD result)
Houston lost to UConn, 74-65 (GOOD result)
California lost to Oregon, 73-65 (REALLY BAD result)

For Middle Tennessee, UT-Arlington, VCU and Nevada, it would help bubble teams if they WIN their tournament:

Middle Tennessee beat UTEP, 82-56 (GOOD result)
UT-Arlington beat Coastal Carolina, 74-51 (GOOD result)
VCU beat George Mason, 71-60 (GOOD result)
Nevada beat Fresno State, 83-72 (GOOD result)

I'll try to update the results as they happen today.
