I went to a bbq over at one of my good friends house this weekend, he also happens to be a fromer U$C football player albeit a punter. We were talking about the Pac-12 with a few other people and some betting ensued. Tom was so sure $C was going to not only reach the pac12 championship game, he was very adamant they would win it. I and multiple other people disagreed, he starts saying he will give the multiple others and i that are disagreeing with him the field if we are willing to bet. I must say this maybe the easiest money ive ever won.
Now he starts bagging on Cal football and our "OK" QB, so i bet him we avg over 40 pts next year, he and other's most of all these guys are UCLA or USC fans started laughing (obviously none of these guys know much about Cal football and Jared Goff) i offered them all the same bet on the spot, no going back and looking at how Cal avg almost 38 PPG last year. So bets are made, they start pulling out their phones to check what the Cal offense did last year every singel one of them said " no this can't be right, 38 pts PPG, how did you guys not win more games." Well after they saw that they wanted me to push it to 45PPG, sorry guys too late.
I know avg 40 will be tough as only 8 teams in FBS did it last year, BUT i think the odds are in my favor.
