I went to Haas today on BB seat selection Sunday at 9:00 for my first time, just to see what seats were available and to bs with my friends in the athletic department. I was pleasantly surprised to see that virtually no chair back seats were available, except at the very top rows or where the dreaded railings to the entry ways turn seats into a jail cell-like viewing. Interestingly, 2 first row, courtside seats opened up at 10:00 across from the Cal bench. There are several second row, courtside seats still open.
It seems that the chair back seats at Haas are in high demand and hard to obtain. I wish that their owners would give away their tickets when not attending games, because far too often, there are a lot of empty chair back seats (especially for the non-conference games). If only that same story becomes true for ESP seats at CMS after our football program becomes sufficiently successful once again to bring in the crowds.
