went to the alum house yesterday for terrific food and terrific speakers. Jon Harris, associate head coach was extremely impressive. Among his bon mots--- " both Rooks and Kingsley willbe much improved next year--- they are benefiting from working under a terrific weight trainer who is " the best at his craft." Domingo will help next year as both a 3 and a 4. Mathews is a tough kid and that helps him and the team inopther ways besides his shooting. He's still bothered by his ankle. "AllI can say about recruiting is that it's going extremely well." "We will have at least 3 vacancies in the spring." I personally don't think Behrens will return next year, so that means an extra vacancy this spring if we want to fill it. He also said, " we're always looking for shooters. " David is playing out of position as a 5. He's a natural 4 and simply doesn't have the muscle to play the five." "Wallace is not a natural PG but right now , "he's the best we have at that position--- Singer puts in mnore time in the gym than any other player." We are still handicapped by not having a good practice facility. ( only school in the Pac-12 which doesan't have a practice facility to ourselves. And, yes, recruits notice!!!!The cookies were good too!!!!Oregon State milkks the shot clock, so the final score will be 13-12. Hate that!!!! OSU's coach is Tinkle---- he's a Monty guy and may be the coach of the year. We wore those goddamn grey unis again. I only threw up twice looking at them--- Personally, I don't believe in burning people alive, but, I will make an exception for the genius who dreamed up all grey unis--- JESUS!!! Time for a drink--- no--- not chardonnay---- I said a real drink!!!
